  2. IMHO 'drama' is not a standard element of a short story

    (I teach ESL in China, and prepare students to take the IELTS)

    In that process we learn to assess an article or short story for it's overall meaning, and not simply to recount facts or figures, which occur within the writer's work......'oh, the drama!"

    Each story structure should contain a theme, plot and setting, just to keep us (the readers) on the same page.
