    "Society" isn't all that relevant to biology.  Most biology takes place completely independently of human society.


  2. "Society" can be a difficult concept with some organisms.

    In biology, the interdependence of living organisms is a key concept.  You cannot understand an organism without understanding how it interacts with other organisms.  A simple example is the wolf.  How can you understand the wolf without knowing what organisms it preys upon, who it's enemies are, and who it's competing with for resources.
