a. It must occur before a cell can divide.

b. Two complementary strands are duplicated.

c. The double strand unwinds and unzips while it is being duplicated.

d. The process is catalyzed by enzymes called DNA mutagens.

Is it d?

I know for a fact that DNA replication must occur before a cell can divide into two identical daughter cells. And b is also true. So, I'm left with c and d. But I think it's d cause I don't remember learning anything about DNA mutagens. But then again, I may be wrong.

  2. The answer is D.

Mutagens are anything that can cause a mutation in the DNA sequence, e.g. ultraviolet radiation, some pesticides, chemicals in cigarette smoke, etc.

  3. D...

the correct enzyme for the DNA replication is DNA helicase...

mutagens are only touched on when we are mentioning on mutations occurs either on the DNA nucleotides.. ( nitrogenous base ) or the transferrig of DNA  on the alleles..

  4. d. The process is catalyzed by enzymes called DNA mutagens.
