1. Shaun Livingston? (Torn knee ligaments, dislocated patella)

2. Greg Oden? (Still only can do two on two practices with team)

3. Darius Miles? (Missed the last 2 seasons...got signed 3 days ago and now is day-to-day 2 days ago)

4. Sean May? (His rookie and sophomore seasons were also shortened due to injury. 58 games in his three years as a pro.)

5. Gilbert Arenas? (Two injuries back-to-back kind of messes with a guys head don't it?)

6. Andrew Bynum? (Bynum can now do some light on-court activity)

7. Adam Morrison? (Thus begins a year's worth of rehab for Morrison)

8. Martell Webster? (irregular heartbeat...his people better contact Eddie Curry people)

9. Yao Ming? (fourth major injury in the last two years)

10. Steve Francis? (It's been a challenging few years for Steve from an injury perspective)

AND WHY?

  1. Best - Greg Oden: Who said it was near career ending?  Amare Stoudamire anybody?

Worst - Darius Miles:  His injury IS career ending and that was deemed so by an independent league doctor.  The only reason he has a chance to make the roster with the Celtics is because he's soooooo cheap, and Danny Ainge wants to stick it to Kevin Pritchard (if D Miles plays in 10 games for the Celtics, his salary goes back on our books and counts against cap space) after he got screwed by us in the 2007 draft.

  2. best chance: gilbert arenas

    worst yao ming

  3. Greg Oden will be PERFECT...he can do 5 on 5 whenever he wants to...

everyone else I could care less about.

  4. Best: Oden or Bynum both are expected to be completely healthy for the start of the season, their young, and it's their first major injury.

Worst: Sean May 58 games in three years and averages over those two years of 10 ppg and 6 rpg, says it all.
