  1. I think condensing water does not require heat, unlike the other processes which need heat to take place. Such as for evaporation and melting and boiling as well as vaporizing, there is a gain of heat. For condensation there is a loss of heat, so that means you don't require heat, right? :D


  2. Going from solid to liquid and from liquid to gas requires energy.  Going the other way releases energy.
