    Vitamin D3 is synthesized in the body (from 7-dehydrocholesterol  in skin on UV light exposure) & Vitamin K2 (mevaquinone) is synthesised by gut bacterial flora.

    Neither Vitamin D nor K have an effect on erythrocyte function but do affect coagulation.
