(iii) Kerala and Tamil Nadu - not entirely true though!

Palghat is a beautiful place and is in between Kerala and Tamil Nadu being only 30 kms away from Coimbatore (TN). I wouldnt say they are joined together but you must be mixing some details up. Palghat is famous as a PASS connecting Kerala and TN through the mountain range that passes between them.
