  1. d. kilogram  the blue whale is very very large so gram isn't the right unit because the number would be huge,liter is a unit of volume, and meter is a unit of length.


  2. It could be either C or D. Most scientists would use D but astronomers measure the mass of planets in grams, so why not whales?
