If you are going for acid 3 test results.

IE8=17

(New)Google Chrome=82

Firefox 3=79

Opera = 85

For speed you would go for Opera but for more functions and potential you wuld choose Firefox 3(No space by the way).

Google Chrome just came out go to google to download it i really like it hope this helps

Firefox is the fastest (faster than chrome in 3rd party tests), it's the most secure, and has the most add-ins.

Opera is a fantastic browser as well.

Also if you have linux, check out seamonkey, it's ridiculously fast
