20 million illegal aliens entering America in a single day or 20 million illegal aliens leaving America in a single day. This question is based on the completely erronous idea(often promoted by illegal alien supporters) that ALL illegal aliens would be deported in a single day. I am sure you have seen such questions in this forum.

  1. The entry would be war.  The exit would save billions on the short term, and trillions on the long term.

A huge number of the illegal aliens do not work.  Many do not work full time.  One reason the Government wants them is that they serve as a cheap temporary work force that does not demand a lot of money.  If we got rid of them, they would stop collecting welfare.. and that is significant because of the fake I.D.s.  The jobs would move to the American People.

Congress doesn't want to be unpopular so they don't want to build the laws that would allow that to happen.  The illegal aliens work well.. they will get their retirement.  It is a crummy deal for the American People, but if you look, you quickly discover they don't care if we get a crummy deal or not.

  2. 20 million entering the US would be more devastating. Once they are here and they need to be provided for:  schooling and medical for anchor babies, and medical care for any who are sick and go to the Er's for help.  Because they are working for LESS than minimum wage (more often than not), which is why they are deemed as invaluable, they do not earn enough to be required to pay taxes.  They are eligible for full refunds plus earned income credits, and additional child tax credits. They are pulling out more than they are paying in.

In short, if you plan a dinner for 10 people and 20 show up, there is a shortfall somewhere.  It is the same concept multiplied by millions. Laws are in place for a reason. Respect them.

  3. Higher gas prices and stagflation.

Which is what we have of each right now.
