  1. If you're talking about forensics I would say that "B" is the only one that makes sense to me.

    In "A", someone would have to literally place a tooth where there was none, which makes no sense

    In "C", someone would have to steal the gold filling out of the body and replace it with silver, which sounds ridiculous

    In "D", again, why would someone take one filling and replace it with another?

    But in "B", I can see why someone would steal silver fillings and leave the body without them.


  2. The ONLY one that makes sense is D:  

    Tooth #12 had a 3 surface filling on it before death, and after death, a Mesial-distal-occlusal filling was seen... ie, a three surface filling, an MOD filling.  Your other three answers allude to the fact that dental work was done after death.

    Reread the choices and remember, antemortem means before death, and postmortem means after death.

    You really should trust me on this one, as I am a forensic dentist!  ;-)
