  1. Actually, according to my calculations, they are both the same. point B would be the same on the right side of the y axis, which would make it 2,5. 5+2=7. A's are already on that side, therefore we can add them as they are. 3+4=7. as you can see, both of these coordinates add up to be 7, therefore they are the same distance away from the origin of the graph.

    B is sqrt ( (-2)^2 +(5)^2) = sqrt 29 which is longer than sqrt 25 =5.

    so, A is closer.
