Which of the so called bigger clubs might not make it out of the group stages of this years Champions League?

i think liverpool will struggle. they have not played very well of late against the teams in their group, especially marsaille!

i would love to see anorthosis qualify but i doubt they will, so i think zenit would get through surprisingly.

Think Liverpool, Lyon and Celtic might not survive make it through their groups. Just look at their groups!

Liverpool: They seem to struggle against smaller teams of late, and the likes of Marseille and Atletico might be a potential banana skin for them.

Lyon: Me thinks Bayern and Fiorentina would finish ahead of them.

Celtic: Villarreal have the stronger squad, so I think they finish in 2nd behind Man United, which leaves Celtic scrapping for third with Aalborg.

As for the smaller clubs, I think Zenit might spring up a few surprises. Zenit's quality was there for us to see in the UEFA Cup last season. They beat Bayern Munich, are Gazprom-sponsored, and just beat Manchester United, so they aren't as weak as their league might make it seem.

i say its hard time for them already

if they found it difficult to eat standard liehe,it will ne even harder for them to beat the teams in their group cause their luck wont be chasing them forever and the teams they are facing now wont give up ntil they have scored so it wont be easy for liverpool at all

as for who will surprise,it will be anorthosis.ive seen them play lots of times

arsenal will struggle not because i'm saying it their ex players are all saying it.

It pains me to say this, but I fear for Arsenal, not because I doubt the current team, but because we've never played well when travelling far, especially if it involves cold nights in russia/ukraine, so I think we may struggle against Fenerbache and Kiev away, and considering we have them both away and porto at home in the first round of 3 games, we could be in trouble
