Which of these cars to buy?

Question

I live in Minnesota and as you may know, it snows heavily during 5 months of winter. I am considering buying 1 of these high performance cars. Can you please suggest to me which of these would be the best choice. (performance, utility, practicality).

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

2005 Audi S4

2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG

2002 BMW M3

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

well if your gonna be driving it in the snow, for 5 months of the year, you can pretty much lower that down to:

06 WRX STI

06 Lancer Evo

Since both are pretty good AWD cars.

Audi, Benz & BMW are good cars, but are a lot to repair. Also i don't think an CLK55AMG or a M3 are going to stand up to snow very well. The S4 might do okay in snow, but its costs an arm and a leg to repair and service, more so than a BMW and a Benz.

If your driving in the snow that much though, i'd go for the STI. It's got a lot of performance for driving on sunny days, and its got AWD and enough power to propel it through tough snow when you have it. Out of all those i'd say the STI is the most practical for you. After that would be the Evo if you like the look of it more.

A friend of mine has a WRX which I have had the pleasure to drive it's an excellent choice.  We live in New England lots of snow and ice here too.

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX sTI is the best. It doesn't break down as fast as the other four on the list. It is also the safest one and has symmetrical AWD.

depens if you live in the city or in the mountains.

if you live in the city get the mercedes.

if you live in the mountains get the subaru.

Well, depends on how big your budget is. If you go with the mercedes, bimmer, or audi, ANY parts or work that you are going to have to have done is going to be ridiculous. But if you have the money then get one of them.

If you are looking for less luxury and more performance, Evo or STI definately.

If its going to be a daily driver and comes down to evo or sti, get the sti, it is much better for daily driving and the Evo is much better for a track only car.
