  1. Hornish

  2. Kvapil

He's the only one on that list with talent

  3. The dinger is my favorite of the group but how do yopu put Kyle Petty in there he has won 8 races in his career none of the other guys have ever won. I mean other than Sorenson i don't believe any of the other guys even have a top 10 in Sprint cup.

  4. in petty do you meen richard petty.

if it is than yes. hes not the elite but hes the king!!!

  5. I like Sorenson. I think he's a good driver but he's just on a bad team.

Allmendinger is doing pretty good this year.

Hornish would be my least favorite out of these.

  6. I think all drivers are elite or they would not be there...that said gotta go with the dinger...

  7. Hornish!

    his hometown is my hometown!

i race go karts for his brother.

& he's a really nice guy (the only driver i've met so far)

and he's in contention for rookie of the year.

& he's doing pretty good for an open wheeler.

    =]

  8. where's vickers?

  9. 1) carpentier - happiest man in sprint cup (till ambrose arrives) in english and french

    2) kvapil - liked him in the truck series. he's a solid driver with a good attitude.

    3) hornish - some props for his open-wheel work, and for being one of the few open-wheelers to have lasted this long, and be in contention for the rookie of the year. plus he can drive the "crabbiest" car i've ever seen, and do well with it.

  10. sorenson

and why is petty in there he' been racin for over 25 yrs'

  11. Sorenson, hands down. He would do a lot better and develop as a driver in good equipment.

  12. Hornish- from my home state, the land of the Buckeyes. I rooted form him while he was still in the IRL. He won my support when he passed Marco down the stretch at Indy. That my friend was nuts.

Kvapil- down to earth guy, he takes everything in stride. A classy guy, no?

Carpentier- a good guy as well, seems like he can do very well in the near future. He's just.. cool.

  13. None of them....

  14. I like Hornish Jr., Kvapil & Carpentier. Hornish has done alot better than I thought he would do this year. Travis Kvapil I have liked since he drover for Penske a few years ago. He is just a good, clean and respectable driver. Patrick Carpentier always seem to get it done when it comes to qualifying and off the track he is a funny man.

  15. I would say

    1) Allmendinger-Local kid (San Jose), that is the main reason. I always try to root for the locals.

    2) Kvapil-Nice guy. I met him in a hotel bar in San Rafael, CA on the Thursday before the 2006 race at Sears. Talked to me and was very nice about everything. Can't help but root for somebody who has been personally nice to you.

  16. Reed Sorenson....I think he has the potential to be a great driver, he just needs to be with a better team. And that's just my opinion.

  17. Travis Kvapil. I think it would just take a tiny bit of luck and he'd get into victory lane. He's a class act, and he usually doesn't cause problems, he's usually caught up in others problems.

  18. Kvapil-he's chill, does not get in the way really and has a good attitude

McDowell-heck my hats off to the kid for surviving flipping that car 8 times during qualifying

Hornish-he is a real good driver

  19. All those guys are pretty cool, but I like AJ for his fearlessness and for not giving up when things weren't going well.

Travis seems like a pretty down-to-earth guy.

    Petty is a good ambassador.

    I like Carpentier's attitude

Hornish has let the pressure to come in and perform roll off of him and he's had some good moments

Ain't nothing to dislike about Sorenson

Mc Dowell gets props for "getting back on" after that horrific wreck
