  1. Both are grammatically correct. But if you are hunting down a psychiatrist in hopes of help, &quot;seek&quot; is generally more colloquial.

As an imperative sentence, &quot;Find a psychiatrist&quot; is correct. &quot;Seeks a psychiatrist&quot; is an incomplete sentence because it does not contain a subject, and is a conjugation of he/she/who/one/proper name. Subjects are optional in some languages, but are mandatory in English except in the imperative case. &quot;Seek a psychiatrist&quot; (without the &#039;s at the end) is also correct. Also, if you wish to be polite, you may say &quot;Please find a psychiatrist&quot;.
