Which old films would you remake?

With the amount of remakes that are made & modern cgi technology we have. Which films would you remake which havent been done? some i can think of our Jaws,Piranha,Flash Gordon, Tarzan & Creature from the black lagoon. I think so much could be done with these films.

Flash Gordon and Tarzan are the only films on your list that I would be interested in seeing adapted again because Flash had a long history in movie serials and still has a lot of mileage left in the basic premise, and Tarzan movies and movie serials have been plentiful since 1918. I really don't think Piranha would benefit from being remade, and would probably lose its balance between menace and humor if it were remade. Creature from the Black Lagoon is nearly perfect and I don't see how CGI effects would improve a remake. I don't like Jaws as it is, and my theory is that Jaws would only work well if the shark is never clearly seen so you're essentially advocating the opposite of what I would; if thirty minutes were trimmed out of Jaws, a better actor was cast than the one who played Quint, and the shark basically remained unseen, Jaws would be a better movie but it still wouldn't be a good one.

I think fewer remake need to be made, not more, and the stories that should be remade are those that are long on plot, not on effects.
