Which olympic team has the highest medal/athlete ratio?

Question

for instance: say there's a small 2 person team. both athletes win gold in their event, = 100% success.

its hardly surprising the USA has the most medals, considering they have mark phelps, and a team bigger than some of the countries which have entered. i want to know who REALLY has the most medals. thanks!

Australia has the most medals per head of population ..or it might be gold medals, when you compare it to how many people live in the country. As for competitors entered V medals I'm not sure. It could be Togo who won Silver or Bronze in the Kayak and I think he was 1 of 4 competitors??

You're in this category and you don't know its Michael Phelps? Did you mix Mark Spitz's name with Michael Phelps'? Good question though. I would like to know also, but I bet it's the U.S.
