Which one has more fun stuff, Time or Newsweek?

I want to give the subscription of one of these magazines to a friend, but he's not really into politics very much so I would like to choose either of these that has more fun/non-political stuffs.

Any ideas?

If you are trying to please him, then Entertainment Weekly might be the way to go.

I've been a Newsweek subscriber for a long time, and they do have a fairly lively cultural section. Time has a reputation for being a little more staid, but does fine too. Either one probably works if you are sure you want to go the newsmagazine route with your friend.

It sounds like your friend would enjoy a subscription to Mad magazine more than either one of the two you mentioned.
