  2. Here is a website i went to compare your two cameras for you. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_...

It really will depend on what you want from a camera. Value(Kodak) or Nice photos(Canon). Personally I've been an avid canon user ever since birth, but from looking at the comparison Kodak may be the better choice if you're looking for value. Here are some differences between the two that may help you decide.

    - Canon has Hi Auto (incorporating Motion Detection Technology) for iso rating, while the Kodak allows images to be taken at (3200 at 3.1 MP). Personally what I think about this is that taking pictures at 3200 iso at 3.1megapixel will just leave your images with nothing but distorted colours and a lot of noise. Action pictures may also not turn out well. Not good for those drunken nights...unless you have a flash.

-Digital zoom canon only goes up to 4 times while Kodak goes to 5 times. The extra zoom will allow you to get a closer look on that pimple he's been trying to hide with his chosen beverage.

-Auto focus type Canon TTL autofocus AiAF (9-point with face detection) Kodak Multi-zone, Center Spot. I'm not sure what this means it just sounds important.

-Storage included 32 MB SD Card, Kodak 64 MB Internal. If you can't be bothered buying an extra storage card due to financial "responsibilities", 64mb is a better choice.

-Aperture range Canon F2.6 - F5.5, while Kodak only has F2.8 - F5.1. The range given here means that, in darker places you will more likely get a clearer photo with canon as it gives a wider range of aperture without using any flash, handy for those nights, whatever kind of nights you can imagine yourself having...

=] I hope this helped you somehow, being it 3:27am it just seems that everything I've mentioned sounds relevant. I do apologize if I've caused any offended anybody or anything, like the cameras?

  3. the first one is better because it has more megapixals

megapixals are to have a better picture

and if u move the camera the picture wont be blurred as much as the other one that has only 8 megpixals.

    hope this helps

  4. Get the Canon!  Even the worst Canon is still better than the best Kodax, all Canons are excellent cameras
