Which one is a better place to register at: Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel?

I plan on registering at Target and one other place...I like both Pottery Barn AND Crate and Barrel...but based on your experience, what did/do you like about each? Which is a better registry?

You should forget Target and do something else.  Brides really need to stay away from Target.  They have an awful return policy, all of their gifts say you can purchase online but end up having to go into the stores (which is a huge inconvenience for your guests), and good luck after the wedding.

If I were you, I would do BB&B and Crate & Barrel.

hmm, potterybarn has more selection than crate and barrel but i see ur delema, both are great, id go scope out pottery barns website and make sure there are a number of things you like.

Crate and Barrel.  They have more stuff for the kitchen and everything.

I registered at Target and Williams-Sonoma. They have a lot of kitchen supplies that my hubby and I were into. I like their products more than PB and C and B.

Crate and Barrell have had beter regisrty ratings than Pottery Barn and the prices are in a more affordable range.

well i personally like potterybarn, or pbteen, they have really cute things. i think crate and barrel is more of the "home" type like living room, and apartment like stuff, but both are really nice!

We registered at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel. Pottery Barn has some great stuff, but Crate and Barrel had stuff that was just as good at better prices. I know that a registry isn't the place to penny-pinch, but I just preferred the selection at Crate and Barrel and the prices. It almost seems like that store was created for couples needing a wedding registry! Not to mention everyone was so helpful when we went in to do it. I loved our experience there.

I like Crate & Barrel better.  They also have a sister company called CB2 that I love.  

Have you considered registering at Bed Bath & Beyond?  They have an excellent return policy with their registry.  

A word of warning about Target.  I ended up dropping mine because it was such a hassle - it was never updated, their return policy was a pain & printing the registry in store was mission impossible.
