Which one is better? Mauser Karabiner 98 Kurtz or M1903 Springfield?

The Springfield (U.S.) or Mauser (Germany) is better? Talking about real rifles....

I'd have to say the Kar98k, but both were very good weapons during the World Wars

Springfield copied the Mauser when they made the 1903.  The US government was sued by Mauser and where forced to pay royalties until the US entered WWI.

The K98 is said to be the greatest bolt-action rifle of all time. Even the yanks said it was. I don't think it was WW2 era though, just a replica.
