Which one is better cricket or baseball?

Well, it depends on your cultural background and/or geographical location.

Anyone who was born and/or raised in Britain, or any of her current or former colonies (except Canada) is more likely to go for cricket.

People from the Americas and Asia will gravitate more towards baseball.

Given that baseball is derived from cricket, it's not as if the new version is better than the old one or viceversa.

One thing is certain, both sports take too long to play and if baseball wants to be taken seriously outside the US, they need to drop that "World Series" title when two US teams play the finals, or put the AL-NL winner versus the winners of other leagues from around the world.

Well, baseball's origins are shared in many respects with cricket.

I don't think many Americans, myself included can say much of intelligence about cricket's positives or negatives.

I've seen one match overseas, and struggled with the nuances of the game.

I don't think you'll get many logical arguments one way or the other...

cricket rox.of course agree wid the others depends where u were raised.frm a playing perspective i just feel  wat separates it frm othr sports in the same way as soccer is the need to use ur mind and skills MORE than baseball(now i'm not saying baseball doesnt need skills just feel its too power oriented).its the same wid baseball always.u've got 3 chances.even if ure not skilled and miss 2 if u can hit the third one far u're gud.in cricket u got only one chance(wicket).

I've played both sports in youth leagues and I can tell you baseball is much more fun when it's organized because cricket takes a ton of more patience than baseball.... however, and somewhat ironically, cricket is sooo much more fun in the back yard, you can really smack around the ball if you let loose...

Depends on if you live in Jolly Olde England or here in the states. A baseball game is played in 2-4 hours while a cricket match is played over a course of several days.
