Which one is better speaker, harman kardon or JBL?

Hi, both are good speakers....it depends on what "effect" your after. The better speakers offer lower numbers in reference to listening quality. Look for the lowest "frequency response" when choosing speakers, they offer the best sound quality.  Run a decent tuner or amp that can meet those requirements, and all is good. Too many people mistake power for good sound. Good sound is reproduced best at lower frequencies. Then, just use the extra power to provide for more speakers; total surround sound is best!!!

Harman Kardon owns JBL, but the HK's branding is geared more towards high end audiophile quality speakers.

It really depends on what you are looking for, and the sound quality you want.  Listen to the speakers before you buy them, and make the decision that is best for you and your situation.

JBL hands down makes an overall better speaker.  That's not to say that Harman Kardon's higher end models are probably better that some JBL lower end models.  Harman Kardon makes great receivers though.
