Which one is good antivirus Norton are AVG?

I had just remove my norton antivirus and install AVG free antivirus software i would like to know how is this avg please tell me about this avg and can i get free avg for 1 whole year please answer very quickly

BIT DEFENDER is by far the best one!!! Norton and Mcafee just slow down your pc and are totally useless.

Norton is always a good and most trusted antivirus... but the only problem is it makes system slow........ if u want ur system to be fast and also have virus in that go avg....which is really not good........i also suggest macfee ... which is also top 2nd antivirus and better that avg......

You can also use Bitdeffender... this is also better that AVG.

I think Norton is better than AVG, AVG is not that good in tracing and removing Viruses.



Norton is good but it consume more resources than AVG.

I would suggest you should go for Zone Alarm from check point.It has all the services like personal firewall, antivirus, anti-spyware etc. and you can even crete your own rules in it.

According to me.. Norton is better between those.. But I think Avast Pro 4.8 is best..

AVG is just as good as Norton. Some say better. It runs lighter on system resources than Norton but can be something of a hog when it scans. You can set this to happen when no one is using the computer, so it shouldn't be a problem. Also, set it to download updates automatically at least weekly, though t can go nightly. I have used it for years with no problems. I just saw stats some where on here the other day. Both Norton and AVG hit on about 96-97% of viruses. Good luck.

Yeah i use avg as norton is a con, what with it only lasting a year. As for getting avg free then yeah you can or you used to be able to i downloaded my copy 4 or 5 months ago, if not go to google and search avg for free and see what appears, there maybe another website which has the old version on. Avg is free forever and not just a year and it will update as new ones become available.

AVG is better than Norton....

But of all Kaspersky is the best....But it is not free...

If you want free one then go for AVAST is the best of all....
