Which one is it?! (bullet bike vs scooter?)

Question

A co-worker of mine and I were talking about the "wave" bikers give each other in passing. I've never really noticed before, so I was asking him about it. (Only been riding a year now!) He said that you wave at another biker; if it's a bullet bike, you flip them off, and if it's a scooter you look the other way! :) I kinda think it's the other way around, flip off the scooters!

Any opinions?

A ride is a ride and a lot of scooters made now days will run rings around a lot of cruisers and sport bikes.

i give the "wave" to anyone on two wheels

my opinion is if it's got 2 wheels, it's OK in my book. i don't know of anybody that waves differently based on which particular type of bike it is
