Which one is more important?

What is more beneficial: to worry about those who are illegal, but who have never been involved in crime, or hurt anyone, and are working and caring for their family, or those who are legal, but involved in criminal activity and don't care, they don't worry about who they hurt or how they do it. For instance; all of the gang activity in cities. How many of these cruds who shoot someone's child in a "drive by" are illegals? Maybe a few of them might be, but I would guess that most of these murderers are born here. Doesn't it make more sense to go after and attempt to root out criminals, than to focus so much attention on why a working person who as yet, hasn't got their "papers"? Then they ship them off and leave their families behind, without giving them a chance to obtain their papers. What real good does that do? Some of these people aren't bad people, just trying to survive with honest work, and performing a service. Just another example of priorities in the wrong place.

  1. I guess you havent seen the statistics. For example 12 citizens killed per day by illegal immigrants.

    From the Nashua Telegraph

Many New Hampshire residents are under the impression that illegal immigration is a victimless crime. Unfortunately, this is not true. Studies have found that illegal immigration causes substantial human costs to American citizens and legal immigrants.

According to the 2006 House Committee on Homeland Security Border Report, every year an estimated 4,300 American citizens lose their lives by an illegal immigrant. Several thousands of senseless deaths could have been prevented if our federal, state and local law enforcement would enforce our immigration laws and secure the border.

The Violent Crimes Institute estimated that there are 240,000 illegal immigrant s*x offenders in the United States, which averages about four victims each. Substantiating the human cost, the Department of Homeland Security estimates that illegal immigrants molest more than 2,900 children. How many more thousands of children will be victimized until we speak up for them? Priorities indeed.

  2. Illegals are involved in crime simply by coming here. They are also the biggest perpetrators of crime (especially violent) after arriving here so your question is not in the least bit factual. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles alone are for illegal aliens.

  3. Criminals are criminals. Entering illegally is a criminal act.

One crime isn't more or less important than another.

Criminals.  Deport them.  Jail them.  Punish them.

    In accordance with the laws.

  4. Can you answer one question is anybody in Mexico single ? Every story about illegals involves every illegal here has a family. If their family is left behind is there some reason why they cannot go out and get a job? Just another example of priorities in the wrong place would equal sitting over in Mexico and have kids they cannot even afford but they do not think ahead and live for the moment. And how do you  just trying to survive with honest work when you have to be dishonest to get the work. Two wrongs do not make a right. If we use your logic then anybody who is just trying to to survive with honest work should be allowed from all corners of the world to come here. So how do you decide what's more important people in Mexico trying to  survive or people in Sudan trying to survive.Shouldn't you start with the most neediest first ?

  5. They are both criminals, the legals need to be incarcerated and the illegals need to be deported with their families. In my opinion they gave up there chance at citizenship when they decided to sneak under the fence to live parasitic illegal life.

  6. What is important is that they uphold the law.

    Fill out the proper paperwork

Stand in line, wait their turn and

    Come here legally.

It's not hard, they just don't want to wait.

Seems like they have their priorities in the wrong place.

To be a criminal or not to be a criminal.

  7. First of all, illegal is someone that breaks the law. People that are here against the law are illegals, since they're breaking the law. They might work hard, be models, and all that stuff, but they're against the law. However, if they're really needed in the US, and my guess is that's correct, there should be some legal way for admitting these people, make them file taxes, and somehow have control over them.

Criminals, well, that happens everywhere. I guess a lot of criminal gangs are a byproduct of immigration, but not of immigration by itself, but of the social reaction towards those immigrants. I think having a healthy society is more important than anything else. I don't know if it's too late for the US, I hope not.
