Which one is morefor an 8 year old girl??

I want to surprise her but not sure if the Mia is too young looking and not sure if the Stella has the right colors for her. This one is Mia http://www.potterybarnkids.com/room/rom/romgir/romgirstl/index.cfm

The one called "Stella" looks more responsible.

The Mia bedroom looks more fun and girly, it is a little busy on the eyes but it looks a little more friendlier and interesting.

I would say Stella, unless she really loves pink.

Stella has cool, crisp colors that won't be too childish as she grows up. It's a fun room for girls, up to their teen years, so it'd be a good investment. But if she is in a "pink-loving" stage, go ahead and go for Mia.

Honestly, they'd both work wonderfully for an 8 year old girl, especially if she doesn't know there are other options. My personal opinion is Stella just for the fact that she won't get too old for it too soon. Hope I've helped you. = )

Very nice on the choices. I have a daughter who just turned 9 and I know that she would pick the Mia. I would agree with that choice. I like them both, but I think the Stella is more teeny. Hope this helps.

I think Stella would be a great choice.  The other one looks a bit young (maybe just because of all the pink), and I do think pink is overused for girls' rooms.

The Stella set has such a fresh look to it, and it's not "typical" girl's room bedding.

Both are nice.  If you did Stella, you could accent with some bright pink throw pillows or accessories.  The Mia is pretty limited on what you can add to it.

Nice idea to surprise.  I'm going to do one wall in my daughter's room purple and paint faries in a forest...
