I have used samsung,sonyerricson,LG and Nokia. Among all the phones Nokia is the best. The battery life is good. In India Nokia charger is available easily, if forgotten to take along. Go for basic model. Camera, music and FM are waste and they consume more battery. In my opinion mobile ph is for communication only and additionally information can be stored and can be used as organiser. go for Nokia 5310

If you want to use your mobile phone for hearing songs, watching small video clips, I prefer you go for Sony Ericcson W700i.

If you do not want above features, but want to use the mobile phone only for communication, I prefer you go for Nokia N70 or N72

Preferrably I would feel not to go for any camera based models, bcoz, the final image would not be of great quality. Images taken from Digital camera are the best.

nokia is the best with battery life, sonyericssons have millions of problens and are most likely to brake...pluss nokia's have much more clearer camera quality....dont ever ever get a motorola they're c**p and c**p...the n70's good with 3d games..i had one myself and its loud...so my choice is n70 even though its abit old its a great phone for camera and defenately vidio quality...

you can add nice fascia's...black or white..it looks really good then lookwise.

Nokia 5220xpress music is pretty tight! but I heard the music edition one is too. Hope that helps.
