  1. Here are the five smallest in the world, the smallest being first.

    1.  Vatican City - 0.2 square miles

    2.  Monaco - 0.7 square miles

    3.  Nauru - 8.5 square miles

    4.  Tuvalu - 9 square miles

    5.  San Marino - 24 square miles

  2. Vatican

  3. You said over the world, so it has to be the country of Luna.

  4. Vatican is the smallest.  Yes Monaco and Andorra are small but a lot of people forget about the country of San Marino which is bordered on all sides by Italy.  Tiny, Tiny, Tiny San Marino.

  5. Lichtenstein.

  6. The Vatican City is the smallest country in the world with Monaco coming second.

  7. It depends on what you mean by "smallest" --- do you mean the smallest, geographically...or the smallest, population-wise?

If you are referring to geography, I'd have to say (this is just a guess)...maybe Monaco. I seem to recall hearing that, somewhere...but again, it's just a guess.

If, however, you are referring to the population....I'm not sure about this one.

The best thing for you to do would be to go to Wikipedia, on the net.....or look it up in the 2008 World Almanac. You're bound to find the info that you are looking for.

I hope that I have been of help to you.

  8. Vatican City, officially State of the Vatican City (Italian: Stato della Città del Vaticano), is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome. At approximately 44 hectares (110 acres), and with a population of around 800, it is the smallest independent state in the world by both population and area.

  9. The Vatican?   What the h**l are you asking?  maybe Monaco?  Depends on what you mean.

  10. Vatican City - 0.2 square miles - The world's smallest state, the Vatican has a population of 770, none of whom are permanent residents. The tiny country which surrounds St. Peter's Basilica is the spiritual center for the world's Roman Catholics (over 1 billion strong). Also known as the Holy See, Vatican City is surrounded by Rome, Italy.

  11. Vatican City.

  12. Definitely the Vatican....

  13. Andorra is pretty little
