Artery, they are the ones that if you cut them you can bleed to death, so it obviously needs to have a thicker wall.

The artery for sure. The artery carries (new) blood pumped from the heart through the body.

The vein carries used blood back to the heart to be cleaned &amp; pumped through the body again. The artery requires a larger tube than the vein to do it&#039;s job. This is a never ending cycle (until we expire).
