The answer is B)

We do however get closer to the sun at certain times in our orbit around the sun because of the elliptical nature of our orbit.

Even though all the planets are gradually going to continue to get closer to the sun I would not expect our average distance from the sun to be something to worry about for the next 500,000 years or more.
