Which one lasted the longest the Korean War or TVs Mash ?

How long did the war last ? And how long was Mash on TV ?

MASH lasted longer, it was on for about 12 years. The Korean war lasted for 3 years. The showed the meatball treatment that happended, in this war.  It was patch them up and send them to Tokoy for better treatment.  They also showed battlion aid staions the front line, where the troops were treated then sent a MASH.  In case you didn't know MASH stands for Mobil Army Surgical Hospital.

I'm told by Korean vets that the horrors of war were nothing compared to the horrors of watching that pompous Alan Alda.

the real war is still ongoing.   there is only a cease fire and not an end to the war.   from time to time the north will fire accross the DMZ and the south will return fire.   there are people that are kidnapped by the north.    there is talk that the north is tunneling under the dmz in order to start the war back up.    the Veterans of Foreign Wars accepts vets that serve 30 straight days or a combo of 60 days as a qualifier to their organization.    hope that helps you     mr doodles  former vet

Mash lasted longer than the Korean War.  Mash was on television from 1972 thru 1983.  The War in Korea lasted from 1950 to 1953.  

However, it can be argued that the Korean War is still going on, as there has never been a formal peace treaty agreed to by all sides involved in the Korean War, there is only a truce.

Technically speaking, the war lasted longer. The ROK and DPRK are both still at war. They merely haven't launched any new offensives.

But speaking generally, combat ended in 1953, the war had started in 1951. So MASH lasted far longer than the combat ever did.

I don't know the times but I do know this. MASH was much longer the the conflict. Korea was the first time the military used front line MASH hospitals, doing "meatball surgery". It worked like a charm.
