  1. If you are going to build a web site using Yahoo! as a host, then go with #2.

Number 1 and number 3 are just the domain name that you point to another web site.  In other words, you don't get a web site with #1 and #3, so go with #2.

  2. If you are going to use merchant solutions or store to build the site then only buy the domain. They include email with the domain with the store accounts. If you are using another platform, I would buy the name and email account.

  3. hi,

the first and the third possibility is good if you a have a blog or baby site somewhere.

    for example!!! just for example!!

you have a wordpress blog on http://www.wordpress.com

    or http://www.squarespace.com or "freehosting somewhere

then your domain sounds like this: http://www.yourdomain.squarespace.com

    then you "redirect" the domain

what you buy with yahoo, and your visitors can see your site like this: http://www.yourdomain.com, (you just hide the source thats all)

you have always some limit somewhere with it, layout problems, graphic design limits, audio video publishing problems>>>>>>you have to use some other provider to publish them, like"youtube" and finally all the site looks the same, you have a navigation bar on the left on the top on the right. and you can customize the header..................... (good for nothing if you are creative)

the second is a complete site with database,so you can build whatever you want.

you can publish audio, video, pics by yourself very very easy.

yoou can create you graphic design by yourself, layout............

you sound like someone creative, so i guess the good solutions for you is:

    "website+e-mail+domainame

(and the internet need diversity because start to looks the same wherever you go, like a big supermarket)

you can learn, and you can enjoy to learn,

    be really creative

    see you :d

  4. As you are about to load a lot of audio n video to ur site, it actually matters how much space is provided for you. That is, the hosting space.

    1. Only domain name option proves good, if u are confident of building your site on ur own, and there is no need of emails. As u need interactions, email is a must. Or else you can have forums for interaction.

    2. If u want easy to use templates for website building, and require emails, then the second option is better.

    3. If u require emails, but can build website on ur own, then the 3rd option will satisfy.

As u can see, it all depends on your needs and what u can do.

  5. Go with number 2. You will want to start with the Starter Package.

I'm sure mean hosting+email+domain name so go with 2.

    1) Hosting allows you to have the website up on the internet.

    2) E-mail allows you to create and manage e-mail accounts using your domain name.

    3) Domain name is the website address. In order for the e-mail to work, you must have a domain name. If you want to show your website to others, you must get a hosting service.

You will need all three or you'll have a harder time working around with your site but if you want to start off cheaper, I suggest you to build your site first before buying anything from above. If you fear someone else may register your site name before you do, then just buy the domain name and nothing more, nothing less, you will be able to buy the email and hosting later. Although it is much better just to start with the Starter (Basic) account, try not to let your emotions concern you of someone taking your domain name.

Basically, build your site first and have it ready to be published once you decide to get the Basic Package. By doing so, you can save a month or two of service.

You can either buy all the stuff and work on your website while paying the services (which may end up taking a longer time) or make the site and then buy when you are ready to have it published. The reason behind buying later is so you can setup your interactive stuff like blogs, content management stuff, forums, calendars, and etc once you published the site. Some of these interactive stuff may take some time to configure to your likes.
