Which one of these TVs are better Sony KDL23B4050 or Sony KDL20S3030U or the Sony KDL20S3000U?

The 'S3030 and the 'S3000 are both the same TV, except one is black and one is white. The 20S has a marginally better picture then the 23B, it has a slightly larger contrast ratio while the B has a better sound, it boasts virtual surround sound and because of the position of the speakers on the machine. These are only minor differences if we're being honest and the deciding factor in choosing which one is for you is all in the appearence and if you intend to move the TV around. As you may have noticed the B has its stand built in so it cannot be wall-mounted but is extremely portable (it has a handle on the back.) If you are going to be moving the TV from room to room, I would recommend the B.

@ Guy, I would completely disagree with you there, Sony are renowned for their TVs and regularly get top reviews in ALL their TVs in What Hi-fi and other reputable TV magazines. Panasonic are good too though. It would be a matter of opinion oh which make is better, like asking what is better, BMW or Mercedes. Lol

I would avoid Sony if your buying flat screen TVs. They are fairly average. Nothing special. Panasonic flat screen's TVs come out top in most reviews.

For those that have given me thumbs down.....I imagine you are the ones that buy into the Sony name. In most products you would be right Sony is good. But when it comes to flat screen TVs, honestly they are average & over priced. There are much, much better modles on the market.
