Are you good at keeping a secret someone shares with you or do you feel you must tell at least one other person?

it depends: if my 13yr old niece tell me she expecting, I will tell her she must speak with her mom about her current situation for proper help and support and will probably tell her she has one week to do so before I do it.

My point is, it depend on the secret, if your engage and told me one Monday but want to announce it at the Saturday dinner then no i want tell, if your in love with someone I want tell, cheating i want tell (as long as its not hurting me or a family/friend of mines).

It depends on what it is, usually I must tell one other person, and that person is someone that doesn't tell, like my husband.

I think of secrets as very serious and will not tell a soul. I'm the type that people find can be trusted with their secrets, I will give advice if needed face-to-face but I will not tell anyone unless the person that told me the secret tells me to.

confidence, in my eyes that makes you a rat, not to mention an

ex friend, there's an old scillian saying about secrets . . .

No I would never tell someone a secret because I would never betray a friend or anyone who trusted me with that secret. Because they showed they trusted me.

I'll be completely honest here. I do have a really hard time keeping secrets. Even my own!!! I know it's a problem. I have gotten a little better. Now, if someone tells me a secret, I'll only tell my mom or I'll tell someone who has no idea whom I'm talking about and I won't mention any names! Gak! I feel so guilty writing this!!! I know I need to stop. My Grandmother told me that she prays every night that God will help her hold her tongue when the situation calls for it. I'm going to pray tonight...
