Which one of these canon cameras is better?

I like either this one canon 8 mp SX100IS

the sx100 is by far the beter camera. but you do have to buy a memory card for it. the one that comes with it has no memmory.

The sx will take a bettor picture but is not as compact. As a rule larger camera's have larger image processors.Also it has a larger lens,it is easier to grind a larger lens without distortions than a smaller one.

I would say which is better depends on what features you deem important.

If you require a good zoom, then the SX 100 is the better camera. If you would like something small and easy to carry around ,then the SD1100 is a better fit. And so on.

Check out the charts and see which features each camera has, which are more important to you and weight your decision based on that.
