The routine is familiar: when a student is late or absent from school, a letter from the parents must be supplied for the absence to be excused. Sometimes such letters suggest that the parents were excused from school too many times in their own youth.

i think their all stupid the schools should not be asking ur personal business about y ur kid was absent what if the reason was u didn't want to get out of bed and take them u chould not tell them that so u have to lie. i didn't come to school one day cuz my dad said lets go out to breakfast i was like ok and then he didn't bother to take me to school it was the last day before Christmas break but still i don't mind if i went to the doctor and had a doctors note or something  yea they can see that so i can have the excused absence but like just missing a random day i think it should be my choice or my dad to say y i didn't come to school.
