Which one of these processors are better?

Question

Intel Core or AMD Tutrion?

I am really stuck between them and what is the difference? I am actually going to buy a laptop so that is why I am asking this question.

which processors motherbord is available with features that u desired for dream speed engine. Please check entire setup ur going to built. Not only the heart of engine. Nothing in processor speed affordability and returns from ur investment is the point while building ur PC system. Think pro...!!

Now i am not a AMD fanboy, but I would recommend AMD because of personal experience. I am a big gamer and i like AMD over intel. I would suggest the AMD X2 5400+. Great processor and you will get more for your money in other areas such as Hard drive space and RAM. GOOD LUCK. Any questions please ask at [e-mail]

there isn't a huge difference beetween the two, however  I would go with the intel core. It runs smoother than the turion, on the interface. try it: move the mouse over the start menu tabs on the inel core and then the amd tutrion. the intel just has smoother transition and movement.

Right now intel gives you better bang for buck

even at the same clock speed intel performs about 11% better than AMD (that may change with the next round of chips but right now intel has the edge)

Put that together with generally better execution on Nort/South Bridges and broader outboard hardware compatability and I put Intel in all my builds until AMD step up a little
