  1. if it was me buying them i would go with the kickers...reason being the db is higher and the frequency range is higher

  2. the L7, you have the wrong specs on the subs

    sensitivity: 86.7 dB

    top-mount depth: 6-1/4"

    and L7

  3. the 2nd

  4. It's not a logical question wether or not 1 is better than 2. 1 sub can put out a nominal amount of sound, as compared to 2 subs, which are going to sound better. I suggest that if you have an amp that will handle the 2 subs, go with that. If you have a bigger amp than that, get 2 L-7s. I own a home and car audio business in my home town, I just got to ask one thing, how much can you get the comps for? if it's cheaper than the L-7, go for it.

  5. first off, i'm glad you have picked kicker. =]

    ok

lets see the solo baric l7 is a good sub. it can take a lot of watts and can give good bass.

the dual 12 inch vr's are also good but the thing about them they are not dual voice coil. so some of the low beats cannot be hit as good as other subs. they will just flat out or cut out.

both of the subs performance depends on the amp you intend to hook up with it. if you have not alreayd purchased or already have an amp i suggest kicker! a 750 monoblock kicker amp can easily push both of these set ups and some. the 2 12's you use less wattage. my friend had those in the trunk of his car hooked to a 750 and they beatdown!

my suggestion: if you haven't already purchased anything here is a setup that you should atleast take a look at. if i were you i would go to hifisoundconnection.com (i do not work there just purchased items from there and they are great!) yes they might be reconditioned but they have nothign wrong with them and come with a warranty.

i bought two 15 inch kicker cvx's the dark gray subs. i also purchased a 750 kicker mono block amp that pushed my two 15's . i could've used more man power but the amp still pushed them and beat like crazy. i had them in a dual ported box. check the site out because its a great site and worth taking a look at.

some ?'s i have for you are what kind of vehicle are you putting these in? what amp are you going to run to them? what kind of box are you going to use? and what is your budget for these speakers and or whole setup?

    respond please

  6. It really depends on what you want to hear from them.

Typically the more watts the better.

If I was purchasing them i would have to go with the 2nd, mainly becuase the peak power handling is higher and sensitivity is higher.

Other then that there both fine, Kicker is a great brand.

Either way, its going to be a good choice.

    Hope this was a help.
