  1. I highly reccomend the sony because i almost bought one. My budget was tight and the sony cost  a lil more, but i would have got it ina  heartbeat. You can research it online but you must have liked  how it looked at the store, lol. Seriously though it is a great LCD and you won't regret that purchase.

  2. Get the first one. Sony is the best! I have one & I've had them for many, many years.

  3. I would recommend the Sony.

But, I would advise you to shop around some more.  Also consider offerings from Panasonic, Pioneer, Toshiba, Sharp, or Mitsubishi.

However, I do not recommend getting any set from a second or third tier brand (Vizio, Olevia, etc.) as they have no service infrastructure with very bad warranty terms.

And, regarding no service infrastructure, should a set from, say, Vizio ever fail out of warranty, it is virtually impossible to get it fixed unless the problem was simple, obvious, and if the part can be obtained.

If the problem is complex, it will require service data to figure how a circuit is supposed to work.  2nd and 3rd tier brands do not provide service data which makes repair requiring this information impossible.

If the problem requires a part that is not industry standard, then the part will need to be ordered from the manufacturer or a purveyor specializing in manufacturer parts (Digikey, MCM, etc.).  2nd and 3rd tier brands do not provide parts support nor do they maintain any kind of inventory so, again, repair that requires a proprietary part is impossible.

In summary, pay a little extra and stick with a name brand.  DO NOT buy a set from a no-name.  What you may save from the purchase you may lose from the hassle and headaches from the lack of service in the event that you need that kind of help.

  4. to tell you the truth i would get the sony one cuz i think its a better brand but it depends witch one u think is better or u like better for caparisons

  5. I would do this one from Walmart or Samsclub. I think the other two are overpriced due to the names. Vizio is a good product that is making a name for itself. I have a Vizio 42 - it has proven reliable w/ great picture and graphics.

Vizio 32" LCD HDTV with Digital Tuner, VW32L

    720p, 1366 X 768 resolution, 16:9 widescreen

    3000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness

2 HDMI input, Built-in HDTV tuner
