  1. Eventhough you want to skate for fun, you want to be comfortabe, and pain free. While you should not break the bank, you need to get a boot with a little more support. You may need to invest a little more,(60.00-80.00) ie. Riedell or another reputable brand,  with a bit of padding. Think comfort while you are having fun; just an opinion. Otherwise either one's is fine.

  2. I think the second one is good for you!

  3. I dont think either of them would be nice. My cousin used to have those but switched to Riedell. I dont know why, but in my opinion, I think Riedell is more comfortable and is worth your money. Might be a little bit more pricey than those two, but it'll be worth it. Have fun skating!

  4. Do not get either one of these because they both suck. I bought the american athletics when i fist started skating and guess what they suck. If you are not even gonna do anything get Jackson Mystique they are 100 dollars and great fir beginers and just skating for fun.

  5. I've seen these online but I have no idea what they're like on the ice.

In your price range, my husband skates on these:

They say "ladies" but they're pretty unisex.  He wears a size 12 shoe and he wears a size 11 in these. I also started in these and found them very comfortable and fun.

  6. I'd go for the first ones because they are less expensive, but if you are skating more that once a week go for better ones.  I would suggest low-priced riedells.

  7. Well, if you are simply buying the skates for fun, then i would buy the first pair--because they are less expensive, and you aren't doing anything fancy, so it can't hurt...
