Which one should I do for my Sweet 16 in July?

Question

A) Have a low key Middle Eastern Style party and only invite family and close friends and have a few dancers. (ethnic foods included)

B) Rent out a place, get a DJ, go buck wild with a about 250+ friends (as many as I can get) and invite family

C) Go on short (2-3 day) vacation with family to somewhere I wanna go.

I don't know which one!! Which would you do? It'll be July 15 so if you know if anything that day that will be poppin off in chi city, please tell me!

C - you can get together with family and friends any time...  how often do you get a vacation of your choice?

I think you can combine A and B.  Why not create a memorable party that your family and your 250+ friends can enjoy.  something exotic like middle eastern style will intrigue most people and you'll be the talk of the town.

or have a family party earlier that day and  go crazy as time goes by with your friends

A. absolutely. that way you include friends AND family, and the memories will be more special.

the more people, the less the "closeness" and a more intimate setting, the more i find the memories to last...

make sure you have lots of music, if you can, get a dvd with music videos, and have that playing on the tv in the background, and you can drape the lights with some seethrough red and orange fabrices for a more middle eastern feel.

i think you should go with b..... because you only turn 16 once, and i think you would have the most fun doing that... you can always have a smaller family party earlier that day.... =]
