Which one should I purchase: Cannon Powershot SD 890IS or Sony CyberShot DSCA15 gold? something else?? Help!?

I think I have it narrowed down to two cameras. I am looking for a good camera that takes excellent pics, a small size, with options to play with. I have heard that Cannon is the best but I have also heard great things about this particular sony camera. Does anyone have any feedback or maybe even a different camera that you feel takes better pics? Let me know.. Thanks!
