  1. OKay, Toshiba gets hot a lot!! It burns your lap! Dell and HP are good but never owned one before, sorry. So I just got this brand new sony vaio! and I love it! I got it for 11 hundred 12 hundred with tax. I had a previous one before and I loved it too!! the model is vgn-cr525e. I recommend that you get it off frys.com or something. Its a lot more expensive if you get it straight out of the sony website!

  2. Dell Inspiron 1525 is a great deal.  I just bought one. For $599 you get a fast machine Intel Duo Core Processor w/plenty of memory for data storage.  You can customize very easily & get in within 1 week.

I have had bad experiences w/HP products in the past.  Dell seems to offer most bang for your buck...

  3. If you've got the cash, go for whichever has more of what you will need, with the extras. If you are sort of strapped for cash, check out craigslist. It's a great place to find things like that. You don't have much time, so you will probably end up resorting to brand new, but if you keep an eye out on craigslist, there are some great deals on things like that, just because people upgrade, or silly things like buying one, and then getting one provided by a job, but not being able to take it back. Ask some of your friends what they have liked.

If you are asking for just a strict opinion, I would chose the HP, as I've had better luck with them

  4. please don't buy a dell.  Everyone I know are very disappointed with their dells.  I have a toshiba and I am very happy with it.

  5. I'm not really sure but I think Dell and HP are good brands. I agree, the macbook is quite expensive

  6. NOO, DO NOT GET THE HP PAVILION.

they're know to break easily but this is also because theyre the lower end models from hp.....

im telling you, if you get an hp pavilion it wont last you even an year.

  7. i like dell.

  8. Inspiron. just dont get one too big. I have the brand new one (1525) and I love EVERYTHING about it.. :)

  9. macbook pro. its worth the money you'll spend to fix a contantly crashing crappy HP pavillion or dell. macs never crash, they're fast and simple and they're just better for college.

  10. HP is way better then Dell. Choose HP
