  1. Interesting question.  Neither is directly related to dentistry.  You've already taken physics, I hope (I'm American so IDK ur system).  I'm wondering what a dentist would say.  I suspect that having the ability to read technical Deutsch might help in your career, but rarely (journal articles, equipment manuals, patents).  I think I'd want something fun to balance out all the technical stuff.  Is English Language about Shakespeare and Frost or about gerunds and participles?  I suppose in the class based society of the UK in the early 21st Century being able to speak the upper class jargon is useful for social climbers and people with broad ambition...But being literate is more so...

  2. I'd do English; maths, chem and biology are going to be really challenging... as well as doing like 4 language exams and learning all that vocab etc? It'll be hard.

  3. depends what you want to do after a-levels..

i personally think german would be best,

but obviously if you wanted to be a journalist or something english would be better..

  4. Choose the one you enjoy the most. It seems you would do well in both of them so just make the decision as to which one you want to study for another two years.

  5. German is actually a pretty easy language to learn, but if you don't feel like writing really long words (the word for science  or natural science is naturwissenschaften ) and capitalizing lots of words then go with English. But I think German would be easier.

  6. you seem to handle English pretty well as I can see, why don't you take German ? I'm swiss and I can tell you that German is quite difficult to learn because of the grammar, but it's a very nice and complex language.

I hope this advice helped you..

    Viele Grüsse

    Tschüss
