  1. This guy talking about Panasonic is insane.  Yes, they do make good Plasma tv's but who in their right mind wants a Plasma tv?

    You are correct.  Go with Sony Bravia and try to get the XBR.  The Samsung Series 6 is also a very good tv, probably 2nd best.
