Which one to include on Resume...A Career Objective or Summary of Skills?

I have over 15 years experience in accounting. I have done both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. I am experienced in computers, with Excel, Microsoft Word, Works and Office. Can someone tell me after 15 years at one job, should I do a career objective or summary of skills? If so can you help me with the wording? THANKS in advance for your time.

  1. an objective is not really necessary. a summary of skills is likely to be useful-you can put them under a section called Proficiencies as bullet points.

  2. It really depends on what kind of position you are applying for. If there is one you have in mind an objective is good, if there are a variety of titles a summary is better. If you'd like my services, please visit my website. I have a lot of experience in accounting resumes.
