Which one would be better horizontal stripes or Vertical stripes for my room

Question

every wall will be diffrent, one will have stripes, one will have polka dots and one i am free handhanding a picture i found on the internet the last one is going to be solid color i want to know if the stripes should be vertical or horizontal and which one will make my room look bigger thanks

Vertical lines do make a room look taller and have more energy while horizontal lines make a room more relaxing.  However, since you are going to have so much stuff going on with every wall, I'd just go vertical, sounds like you want a lot of energy anyway.

Straight Horizontal stripes will be more difficult to paint since your wall is probably longer than it is high. They will make your room feel longer, but that's not necessarily going to be a good thing.

Vertical stripes will make your room look taller, so unless you have a really tiny room, I'd go vertical.
