So come January, I'll be living in one of these countries. I want to go live in Germany b/c I can go live with Uncle and learn German. Also I can tryout for his fussball team and see if I can get my game to the next level. If I live in Germany I wont have to to worry about living expenses b/c I'll live with my uncle but also i worry b/c I'm afraid that the German wont be the friendly and I wont be able to learn German. As for England it's been a dream of mine for a long time to live there. I would go there and see if there's any local football leagues to play for and it might sound lame (ya, it is) but I feel like deep inside I will marry a English girl. I think the accent is a killer! ( Again, I know...lame!) In England, I'm going to have to get my own accomodation and work more compared to Germany but also I can already speak the language!

I'm going b/c I tired of how repetitive my life is right know so I need some thing new.

Help me out! What do you think?!

  1. I'd personally say go to Germany if you have Family there.

England is not in such great shape at the moment, we are having quite a few problems. Our economy isn't so great and the price of everything has hit the roof. Plus society is turning a bit violent, this is why a lot of Brits are leaving the UK as soon as they can.

Also getting a working visa to live and work here is going to be very hard for you, as the UK government are only accepting immigrants who have skills awe are in desperate need of in this country, so unless you have a lot of qualifications, or you can apply for an ancestral visa, you may struggle to get accepted into the country.

I'm not sure of the immigration process in Germany, but it is very tough to move to England at the moment.

  2. england. even tho we kick their butts.

its awesome there. germanys okay. language problems.

    cute guys tho lmao.

    =D

enjoy yur trip. or life... =]

  3. i would go for germany! it just has nicer surroudings and housing. and especially food! i went to england for 2 weeks, living with a family. i know that you cant get to know a country in two weeks, but that was enough for me. england is nice for holidays, london is very interesting and there are some nice spots in the country to go. but all in all i find germany more attractive!

  4. Germany. I lived there before. People have this stereotype about Germans- that they're cold and strict. But actually, they are some of the nicest, warmest people I have ever met. They might come off cold, but thats because they don't really readily volunteer personal information to people they don't know. Most Germans know English, and even in the small town I lived in, as soon as they heard my accent they spoke English with me to be polite. German is relatively easy to pick up because English is a Germanic language. You'll be fine.

Also, even if you were to live alone in Germany, the living expenses are less their. England's living costs are outrageous in comparison to the US.

  5. England,

better T.V. shows and everyone speaks English so you can understand the way everything is easily.

Germany is okay, and the only pro is that they still drive on the right side.

You can just visit your Uncle via. Heathrow Airport or take the tube cross the Chunnel and train all the way from France to Germany.

  6. Germany. The UKs a police state and Winston Churchil would throw up if he saw what it has become. And I can say that because it's true. You won't be yelled at by cameras that monitor where you are 24/7 in Germany.

You think America sucks right now? At least if someone breaks into my house I have the right to legally own a shotgun to blow a hole in their torso. The crime rate in the UK is nuts and everything ins't that **** rocket expensive.

  7. England.  I love everything about England including my English wife.  Live your dream.  If you are not a tourist, do you need a work permit to live in England?  Germany?

  8. I am German and live in Germany and my boyfriend is English and lives in England so I know both countries. They are both nice countries but living in Germany is easier and not so expensive especially as your uncle lives in Germany. My boyfriend doesn#T speak much German but he never had problems here as most Germans (especially the younger ones) speak English. England is not so far from Germany so you still can decide to go to England later.

  9. I hate germain language,so i would deffinitly go to England. Then if your dream is to go there, then you cant go to Germany and learn their bad-sound language.I hope you will make a good decition.
